~ Fusion Essentials' Story ~

The first time I came across essential oils was back in 1991 when I was living in the Bay Area. A waft of patchouli lingered in the air as I rode my bicycle along the streets of the Mission District. I applied different essential oils on my body and clothes and around my apartment to breathe in the aromas that made me feel light-hearted and carefree. From that moment on, I fell in love with essential oils and could never use synthetic perfumes again.

Fast forward to a new millennium and we land in the midst of a pandemic with COVID-19. As with everyone the pandemic altered my life and lifestyle. But it also gave me the opportunity to dive deep into the ancient knowledge and healing properties of aromatherapy, herbal studies, and acupressure. In 2020 I enrolled in the online program at Aromahead Institute and read anything that I could get my hands on that discussed aromatherapy and single-use essential oils. In fact, I came across an article about tea tree oil. Tea tree oil's antibacterial and antiseptic properties helped heal and remove an infected keloid on my forehead. After that, I began to immerse myself in making skin care recipes for myself and blends for my health issues such as small fiber polyneuropathy, a nerve disease.

I began handcrafting a variety of certified organic and wild-crafted blends for my family. My teen daughter trained as a competitive dancer since she was 4 years old. After tapping for three hours, her feet were pretty worn out. Other times, practicing en pointe made her toes somewhat ache. So I looked into what essential oils could cool down the soreness in her feet. I made En Pointe Foot Care which helps her have happy feet. I use it for my neuropathy as well, especially when I wake up in the morning. I continued to analyze and experiment with different recipes. I offered my blends to extended family, friends and neighbors who fortunately agreed to become my test subjects and gave me honest constructive feedback on what worked and didn't work.

Most of my blends lean toward a therapeutic approach in nature, for physical issues, emotional, mental, and hormonal-triggered moods, and as part of my Ageless facial skincare series. Many of my blends stem from personal and community-based self-care needs. Occasionally, I'll whip up a holiday blend thrown in for good measure.

Certified organic and wild-crafted essential oils have amazingly effective properties as seen in a growing body of literature on human and animal research studies. I handcraft these wonderful botanical essentials into blends, and encourage others to experience their beneficial use as well. I use as many certified organic and wild-crafted essential oils because I believe the highest quality begins with the soil, water, and environment. I became a member of the California Green Business Network in the City of Carlsbad in 2024 and have dedicated myself and my microbusiness to protecting the Earth and its sentient beings.

The key to using the blends is applying them consistently so that your body receives a steady amount of the chemical constituents in concentrated essential oils. On average, one essential oil contains 100 natural chemical components!
My approach is to provide the highest quality of essential oils which is why I strive to use, when available, certified organic and wild-crafted (i.e., wild harvested) essential oils, butters, and plant-based carrier oils. No toxic additives and preservatives, no synthetic chemicals are added to my blends. On top of that, I practice the made-to-order system which means I make only microbatches of blends. Furthermore, I like to add a "best by" date so you know how long you can use the oil blends. My hope is to help others and myself feel beautiful about ourselves, healthier in the products that we use, and freer from the stressors that affect us everyday.Thank you for supporting independently-run, women-owned microbusinesses. Cheers.

Selecting a blend is an important step in knowing what you are experiencing in the here now. Knowing your mind, body and spirit is your own journey. My blends simply enhance your journey by making the journey more comforting, less painful, more peaceful. My blends have aromatic scents that will smell differently from body to body and, unlike synthetic perfumes, fragrances and colognes, will fade one essential oil after another over time.

None of my essential oil blends have any of the following such as nano-sized zinc oxide, aluminum, coal tar dye, -flo

None of my essential oil blends have any of the following as well:

- nano-sized zinc oxide
- aluminum,
- coal tar dye,
- flouride,

- petroleum-based ingredients.

Organic vegetable carrier oils such as sweet almond, rose hip seed, sea buckthorn, jojoba, pomegranate, hazelnut, and many others are used for dilution of essential oils. Again, like the essential oils, I use as many certified organic, wild-crafted, raw, cold-pressed, or unrefined carrier oils as well. Each blend is a unique mix of natural constituents that are evenly diluted by the carrier oil to give you what is healthy for your mind, body and spirit.

Organic butters that I use for balms and salves are also certified organic, organically grown, ethically sourced, wild-crafted, cruelty free, and fair trade. They are plant-based for vegans and others who care about Earth's flora and fauna.

Before making a purchase, check the ingredients of the blend to make sure you are not allergic to any of them. I can always substitute another essential oil that delivers the effect that is needed but without any sensitivities for your body. Please email in advance. When using the blend, please take a skin patch test under your arm for 24 hours to see if you have any allergies to the blend. If yes, please don't use the blend.
