Vetiver is typically used for emotional, spiritual and fragrancing applications. Its a ground note and is often strong in aroma. Its major components are Khusimol, Vetiselinenol, Cyclocopancamphan-12-ol, a-Cadinol, a-Vetivone, and B-Vetivenene.
The aroma of Bergamot Essential Oil is reminiscent to that of Orange Oil, but it is wonderfully more complex. Bergamot Essential Oil smells citrusy and possesses a beautifully complex aroma with underlying floral and bitter characteristics. Cold pressed Bergamot Essential Oil is highly phototoxic, and it must be avoided when exposed to the sun or UV rays. Varieties of furocoumarin-free (FCF) cold pressed Bergamot Essential Oil has the bergaptene removed. I use this variety for my blends. Its major components are (+)-Limonene, Linalyl Acetate, Linalool, Sabinene, Gamma-Terpinene, and Bergapten.
Wildcrafted Ylang Ylang Complete, pronounced as Eee-lang Eee-lang, is heralded for being helpful for wellness. Ylang Ylang Essential Oil smells exotic, floral, sweet and slightly fruity. Its major components are Linalol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Geranial, Benzyl, Acetate, Geranyl Acetate, Eugenol, Methyl Chavicol, Pinene, Beta-Caryophyllene, and Farnasene.
Sweet Almond is a primarily monounsaturated vegetable oil with medium viscosity and mild, nutty aroma. It typically contains up to 80% Oleic Acid, a monunsaturated omega-9 fatty acid, and up to about 25% Linoleic Acid, a polyunsaturated omega-6 essential fatty acid. It may contain up to 5-10% saturated fatty acids, primarily in the form of Palmitic Acid.

SENSITIVITY & ALLERGIES: I always use high quality, natural ingredients but some herbs and oils can cause reactions to those allergic or sensitive. When trying new products, always do a skin patch test by applying to a small area of healthy, non-irritated skin (the underside of the wrist or underarm is a good place), to check for skin sensitivities. This is especially important if planning to apply to broken or damaged skin. Wait about 20 minutes. Look for redness, a rash near the area or elsewhere. Always monitor yourself or your child whenever using aromatherapy blends.
