Peppermint is fresh, minty and a favorite around the holidays. Many are reminded of the taste of peppermint candy with its white and red stripes.Peppermint Essential Oil contains menthol. Its main constituents are Menthol, Menthone, Menthyl Acetate, Neomenthol, 1,8-Cineole, and Menthofuran.
Wildcrafted Cypress Leaf blends well with a variety of other essential oils. Aromatically, its scent has a fresh, herbaceous, woody and slightly coniferous aroma. Its major constituents are a-Pinene, delta-3-Carene, Cedrol, a-Terpinyl acetate, Terpinolene, and (+)-Limonene.
Spearmint Essential Oil is a somehwat more subtle oil than peppermint because it contains significantly less menthol. I find the aroma "soft" when I inhale it compared to Peppermint which seems crisp to me. Overall, spearmint smells minty, fresh and perhaps slightly fruity in aroma. Spearmint's major constituents are (-)-Carvone, (+)-Limonene, (Z)-Dihydrocarvone, 3-Octanol, Methone, and 1,8-Cineole.
Clary Sage is used for emotional and spiritual well-being. It has a distinctive herbaceous, earthy, slightly floral scent. Containing approximately 60-70% Linalyl Acetate, Clary Sage Essential Oil is likely the essential oil that is highest in this calming ester. Its major constituents are Linalyl Acetate, Linalool, a-Terpineol, Germacrene D, and B-Caryophyllene.
Geranium has a distinctively rosy-floral essential oil that is rather strong and dominant in blends. Its main constituents are Citronellol, Geraniol, Linalol, Citronellyl formate, Isomenthone, 10-epi-Gamma-Eudesmol, and Geranyl Formate.
Wildcrafted Lemon Essential Oil has a powerfully fresh traditional lemon aroma. It's main constituents are (+)-Limonene, B-Pinene, Gamma-Terpinene, a-Terpineol, a-Pinene, Geranial. Note: Cold pressed Lemon Essential Oil is phototoxic so if you apply it, please apply it when you know you'll be indoors.
Sweet Almond is a primarily monounsaturated vegetable oil with medium viscosity and mild, nutty aroma. It typically contains up to 80% Oleic Acid, a monunsaturated omega-9 fatty acid, and up to about 25% Linoleic Acid, a polyunsaturated omega-6 essential fatty acid. It may contain up to 5-10% saturated fatty acids, primarily in the form of Palmitic Acid.

SENSITIVITY & ALLERGIES: I always use high quality, natural ingredients but some herbs and oils can cause reactions to those allergic or sensitive. When trying new products, always do a skin patch test by applying to a small area of healthy, non-irritated skin (the underside of the wrist or underarm is a good place), to check for skin sensitivities. This is especially important if planning to apply to broken or damaged skin. Wait about 20 minutes. Look for redness, a rash near the area or elsewhere. Always monitor yourself or your child whenever using aromatherapy blends.
