Black Forest Balm is a "cologne" made of certified organic essential oils from evergreen trees and a hint of fruit and mint to accent the blend. Cologne has a lower concentration of fragrance oils than perfume. This is why cologne smells lighter, less intense, and doesn't last as long as perfumes. Cologne is often described as a fresh, lighter fragrance that is good for everyday use. This organic "cologne" is made of organically sourced essential oils such that each essential oil evaporates at a different rate over time. Furthermore, it has no synthetic ingredients, preservatives or additives.

Organic Norway Pine is an especially fresh, crisp, and aromatically pleasant pine oil. The oil contains approximately 80-90% monoterpenes, particularly a-pinine and b-pinene. It also contains approximately 3-10% sesquiterpenes.
Organic Black Spruce smells fresh, crisp, woody and earthy. It's main components are Bornyl Acetate, B-Pinene, a-Pinene, Camphene, (+)-Limonene, and Camphor. It is abundant in monoterpenes and esters.
Wild-crafted Pinyon Pine is an especially fresh, crisp, and aromatically pleasant pine oil. The oil contains approximately 80-90% monoterpenes, particularly a-pinine and b-pinene. It also contains approximately 3-10% sesquiterpenes.
Wild-crafted Cedarwood atlas has a rich, sweet, woody aroma. Its main constituents are B-Himachalene, a-Himachalene, (E)-a-Atlantone, Gamma-Himachalene, Deodarone, (E)-Gamma-Atlantone, Himachalol, and Isocedranol. I might be switching to Virginia Cedarwood which is not on the endangered list like Cedarwood atlas is.
Wild-crafted Orange is usually a combination of different species of orange. The main chemical components of orange oils are limonene, β- Myrcene, α-Pinene, Citronellol, Geraniol, linalool, and Neral.
Organic Peppermint is fresh, minty and a favorite around the holidays. Many are reminded of the taste of peppermint candy with its white and red stripes.Peppermint Essential Oil contains menthol. Its main constituents are Menthol, Menthone, Menthyl Acetate, Neomenthol, 1,8-Cineole, and Menthofuran.
Organic Carnauba wax is a natural, plant-based product that is made from the leaves of the Copernicia prunifera, a Brazilian palm tree. Carnauba consists mostly of aliphatic esters (40 wt%), diesters of 4-hydroxycinnamic acid (21.0 wt%), ω-hydroxycarboxylic acids (13.0 wt%), and fatty alcohols (12 wt%).
Organic Jojoba Oil is actually a wax, and not an oil. Its composition is similar to that of the skin's natural sebum (oil). Its viscosity is medium.

SENSITIVITY & ALLERGIES: I always use high quality, natural ingredients but some herbs and oils can cause reactions to those allergic or sensitive. When trying new products, always do a skin patch test by applying to a small area of healthy, non-irritated skin (the underside of the wrist or underarm is a good place), to check for skin sensitivities. This is especially important if planning to apply to broken or damaged skin. Wait about 20 minutes. Look for redness, a rash near the area or elsewhere. Always monitor yourself or your child whenever using aromatherapy blends.
