I made this certified organic serum with myself in mind. I'm in my late 50s, and I'm at the age of accepting the gray hair, the fine lines and wrinkles -- and embracing pro-ageing instead of anti-ageing. I actually renamed this blend from "Anti-Wrinkle" to *Ageless* (and Beautiful!) to encourage women and men to be actively engaged with pro-ageing.

So what is "pro-ageing"? Pro-ageing means accepting how old I am, what aches and pain are creeping into my body, and yet -- best of all -- doing what is needed to keep my body, mind, and spirit active and engaged in life. It's about aging well. It's about self-care and self-love. Self-care and self-love means it's okay for you and me to use moisturizing facial lotions/serums to smooth away the fatigue and revitalize the face. Organic Cistus is an intriguingly complex, rich, sweet balsamic oil. Its main constituents are a-Pinene, Camphene, Hexen-1-ol, Trimethylcyclohexanone, and Bornyl Acetate.
 
Wild-crafted Helichrysum italicum contains several diketones known as italidiones.,Steffen Arctander describes the aroma of Helichrysum Oil as being "sweet-fruity and tea-like, delicate undertone is unique, and the tenacity is quite outstanding." Its main constituents are Neryl Acetate: 6-40%, a-Pinene: 3-30%, Gamma-Curcumene: 8-15%, and Italidiones: 3-10%.
 
Organic Geranium has a distinctively rosy-floral essential oil that is rather strong and dominant in blends. Its main constituents are Citronellol, Geraniol, Linalol, Citronellyl formate, Isomenthone, 10-epi-Gamma-Eudesmol, and Geranyl Formate.
 
Organic Rose absolute is often favored by fragrance formulators and perfumists for its fragrance, aromatic strength. It has a smell floral and sweet with an intense, concentrated rose aroma. Rose absolute has a deep red color. Its main constituents are Citronellol, Geranoil, Alkenes & Alkanese, Nerol, Methyleugenol, Linalool, Citronellyl Acetate, Ethanol, and 2-Phenylethano.
 
Organic Lavender is a floral and has a beautiful, versatile aroma. Its main constituents are Linalyl Acetate, Linalool, (Z)-B-Ocimene, Lavandulyl acetate, Terpinene-4-ol, B-Caryophyllene, (E)-B-Farnesene, (E)-B-Ocimene, and 3-Octanyl Acetate.
 
Organic Ho wood is steam distilled from the bark and wood. It is one of the most potent sources of naturally occurring linalol found in any steam distilled essential oil. Its scent is similar to rosewood with an aroma that's sweet, fresh and woody, with subtle floral notes. Its primary constituent is linalool.
 
Organic Rose Hip Seed Oil is rich in essential fatty acids, namely alpha linolenic acid, and a natural source of the antioxidant Vitamin C. It contains approximately 6% saturated fat, 13% oleic acid (an omega-9 fatty acid), 43% linoleic acid (an omega-6 essential fatty acid), and 36% alpha linolenic acid (an omega-3 essential fatty acid).
 
Organic Sea Buckthorn is made from the leaves, flowers, seeds, and fruits of the shrub. It contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, and C.
 
Organic Evening Primrose is a prized oil in skin care for its noteworthy essential fatty acid content, consisting primarily of the omega-6 essential fatty acids linolenic acid and gamma linolenic acid. It has an aroma that is liight and sweet.
 
Organic Hazelnut Oil penetrates well and is said to be a good choice for those with oilier skin. It contains approximately 9% saturated fat, 74% oleic acid (an omega-9 fatty acid), 17% linoleic acid (an omega-6 essential fatty acid), and less than 1% alpha linolenic acid (an omega-3 essential fatty acid). It is light and absorbs fast into the skin.
 
Organic Jojoba Oil is actually a wax, and not an oil. Its composition is similar to that of the skin's natural sebum (oil). Its viscosity is medium.
