Lavender is a floral and has a beautiful, versatile aroma. It's main constituents are Linalyl Acetate, Linalool, (Z)-B-Ocimene, Lavandulyl acetate, Terpinene-4-ol, B-Caryophyllene, (E)-B-Farnesene, (E)-B-Ocimene, and 3-Octanyl Acetate.
Wildcrafted Lemon is quite energizing and uplifting. Limonene is the naturally occurring chemical constituent within Lemon Essential Oil that gives it its distinctive lemony aroma. Its major constituents are (+)-Limonene, B, Pinene, Gamma-Terpinene, a-Terpineol, a-Pinene, and Geranial. It is considered a phototoxic essential oil so take heed to place sunblock over the blend or use when mostly staying indoors.
Bois de rose (Rose wood) has a subtle, yet surprisingly sweet, woody, fruity aroma with a floral quality to it. It's main constituents are Linalool, a-Terpineol, (Z)-Linalool Oxide, (E)-Linalool Oxide, and 1,8-Cineole.
Carrot seed smells earthy, woody and warm. It is especially heralded and prized for its ability to moisturize mature skin. It's main constituents are Carotol, a-Pinene, Dauca-4,8-diene, B-Caryophyllene, and (E)-Dauc-8-en-4B-ol.
Hazelnut Oil penetrates well and is said to be a good choice for those with oilier skin. It contains approximately 9% saturated fat, 74% oleic acid (an omega-9 fatty acid), 17% linoleic acid (an omega-6 essential fatty acid), and less than 1% alpha linolenic acid (an omega-3 essential fatty acid). It is light and absorbs fast into the skin.
Jojoba Oil is actually a wax, and not an oil. Its composition is similar to that of the skin's natural sebum (oil). Its viscosity is medium.

SENSITIVITY & ALLERGIES: I always use high quality, natural ingredients but some herbs and oils can cause reactions to those allergic or sensitive. When trying new products, always do a skin patch test by applying to a small area of healthy, non-irritated skin (the underside of the wrist or underarm is a good place), to check for skin sensitivities. This is especially important if planning to apply to broken or damaged skin. Wait about 20 minutes. Look for redness, a rash near the area or elsewhere. Always monitor yourself or your child whenever using aromatherapy blends.
